During these days, our commercial director, Fernando Sarasa, had the opportunity to share the history and passion behind our oils in several round tables.

In addition, among other activities, we were part of the owners among recognized chefs, where we were able to expose the quality and diversity of our oils. At the Cambrils Agricultural Cooperative, we are proud to bring the best of our land to the international gastronomy stage.

The feast of Sant Antoni Abad is celebrated on January 21 in Cambrils, traditionally dedicated to agriculture. He stands out as the Patron Saint of Farmers. The celebration includes a parade with artistic and satirical floats. The Three Tombs are the central event, with a parade of chariots and horses that repeats the route three times. The hermitage of Our Lady of the Way is a blessing point for the animals during the passage of the parade. Other activities such as concerts with an orchestra at noon and dancing in the afternoon complement the festivities around Sant Antoni.

On October 16 at 9:00 a.m., the first olives begin to arrive at the warehouse of the Agricultural Cooperative of Cambrils and on October 19 we will have the first oil of the season for sale, undoubtedly a reason for satisfaction for all the farmers and staff of the Cooperative, who have been working for months to have the olives in perfect condition and all the facilities ready.

The Cambrils Cooperative and Carme Ruscalleda have presented today the agreement whereby the Catalan chef will be an ambassador for Mestral products for the next two years.

The ceremony held this morning at the facilities of the Cambrils Cooperative has been a sign of the trust that Ruscalleda has placed, for years, in the products that are made in the Cambrils oil mill.

On this occasion, Ruscalleda, accompanied by the president of the Cooperative, Pau Serra, the commercial director, Fernando Sarasa and the director of Migasa's mass consumption area, Fernando Medina, have visited the facilities such as the unloading area of ​​the olive, the farm shop and, later, the reservoir area.
