El pasado dia 8 de Julio de 2013, el Presidente de la Cooperativa Agrícola de Cambrils,. Sr. Jaume Baiges Folch recogió el premio al Mejor Aceite de Oliva Virgen Extra de la cosecha 2012-2013 en la categoría de Frutados Maduros. El acto estuvo presidido por el Ministro de Agricultura, Pesca, Alimentación y Medio Ambiente, Sr. Miguel Arias Cañete acompañado por la Secretaria General de Agricultura y Alimentación Sra. The extra virgin olive oil produced by the Agricultural Cooperative of Cambrils, has won the First Prize for the Best Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain in the 2012-2013 season, in ripe fruity category, which holds annually the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment. This recognition is the most important award a company can get in olive oil in Spain. AWARD FOR THE QUALITY AND DESIGN On April 2012,the MESTRAL extra virgin olive oil produced by the Cooperative of Cambrils won the silver medal in the prestigious international competition of Los Angeles (California - United States), also in the same contest, the brand new presentation of ARAGEM also produced by the Cooperative was awarded the gold medal for Best Packaging of oils presented in the category of contemporany design. Thoses awards, are open two times by season, one for oils from Norhtn hesmisphere in March and from Southern Hemisphere in July.
